Legal Basics on Protection in Humanitarian Action

Fully booked

Even though protection is a core pillar of humanitarian action, it is often not entirely understood by staff working with NGOs, and/or people may feel insufficiently equipped in fulfilling their responsibilities in protection. This training seeks to provide you with the knowledge and understanding necessary to recognize and address protection issues in your daily work, in particular in situations of forced displacement. The three-day online course will cover the legal basics of protection, include practical case studies that we will deal with in small groups, and allow you to test your knowledge and learning in a final, mandatory exercise.
