Cash and voucher assistance (CVA) is increasingly recognized as an appropriate and efficient tool for supporting affected populations in humanitarian crises, allowing them the freedom of choice to buy the things they most urgently need while stimulating the local economy.
At the same time, disability programming and disability mainstreaming in humanitarian action have also become key topics in humanitarian action in recent years.
The objective of the training is to increase the understanding of how to mainstream disability-inclusion in CVA and how to respond to the specific needs of persons with disabilities through CVA.
Necessary transport and hotel for the face-to-face workshop are to be covered by the participants.
